School

You'd think that school was boring,
That all you did was work
But if you were inside my head,
You'd think that was bazerk
Because school is not a bad thing,
We do some fun stuff too
Like running round and playing games
And school's how I met you!

Poem

It's a dark winter day
I'm cold as can be
I've stepped in a thousand puddles
Silly old me

An adventure of a lifetime

Once there lived a little lion cub, he was lying an the soft mossy
leaves in the middle of the jungle, his mother had been shot soon after
he was born. But this was no ordinary lion cub as you will see...

James jumped up and into a tree looking over the whole forest the little lion cub grew sadder and sadder as he watched all of his little friends play with their parents. That night he thought of a plan "I'll run away from home and find my father" he whispered to himself in the darkness.

Early that morning he set off carrying nothing but himself, this is one of
the biggest mistakes he made.Step by step he walked through the jungle
until he reached the desert, he climbed up a tree and fell into a deep
sleep. In the morning he woke alone in the middle of the desert "how did
I get here" he thought, then far off in the distance he heard voices he
couldn't quite make out there shapes but then he suddenly remembered:
when he was just a tiny little cub his mother went out to get some food
and while she was out James saw two very smart monkeys chatting to each
other in a tree. And that is who has brought him out into the middle of
the desert, those two little monkeys and that is who is now makingtheir
way up to him, it couldn't be, those monkeys sounded way to smart to
have brought a lion into the desert, unless they are up to something.

Startled, he woke up again "I must have fainted" he thought. And there staring down at him were the two smart monkeys "why 'ello little chap, you've finally woken up, what 'appenend to ya'. Me and my brother over here found ya' in a tree we thought you
were dead, so we brought you out into the middle of the Desert thinkin' 'dat
the heat would wake ya' up and I suppose it did." said one of the monkeys."He doesn't sound very smart" thought James."Hello there" said the other monkey "my name is Richard and that is my idiot brother Steve". "So thats the one I heard talking thought James, "he is the smart one maybe I can ask him for some help". "Excuse me, but what are we going to do now we are lost in the desert, just us three and we need
food water and shelter what are we going to do". "Well" said Richard 'that's what we've been doing, we have food and water from another forest 800 miles away". "Take me there please" said James "my father might be there."Why do ya' need ya' father isn't your mum back at home" said Steve. So James told him the whole story about his mum and his dad and how he was on a very important journey.

While all this was happening a little parrot flew above their heads and heard every word, then with a woosh it flew away back to the jungle that James had come from and told everyone in the forest about James wanting to see his father and of course everyone was relieved in a way because they thought something terrible had happened but they were still worried .

James' best friends mother was sent away by the parrot to look for James' father fortunately she knew where he was and was back a day later with him and she told him why he needed to come.

"I think it's a stupid idea to run away from all your friends who love you to come out alone and look for someone who could be dead" said richard, "don't say that" said James "he won't be dead he's alive he's alive" and with that he grabbed some food and ran. He ran and ran 'till he could run no more and when he stopped he fell asleep as quick as a flash.

The next morning he woke up from the cold wet rain pouring down onto his face then dribbling down and off his nose. He set off again after eating some fresh fruit that the monkeys had picked. After hours and hours of walking he finally came to a forest he dragged himself into the forest and the next thing he new he was picked up by big hands and plonked into a cage in the back of a moving van. He instantly knew what must have happened, the hunters had captured him.He sreamed and he yelled but no one heard him except that little parrot and yet again he heard every word and with a woosh he flew away.

The little parrot flew and flew until he reached Richard and Steve then he told them how he had heard james calling for help inside the hunters van not long after that Richard and Steve were sprinting through the desert until they finally saw the van parked on the edge of a cliff.they creeped up to the van and crept into a window minutes later all of them (including James) were outside on their way back to James' home forest. The next day they reached home James dprinted up to his dad and gave him a big hug and they all lived together happily ever after.

Outdoors

The rain is cold, the dew is wet, it is slippery everywhere
The sun is hot, the air is warm and there's no time left to spare.
The grass is green, skies are blue, the smell of flowers fills the air
The wind is strong, the ground is dry and the tree tops are left bare.

Feelings poem

I'm feeling quite down
I'm covered in frowns
And nothing can take that away
Because I'm stuck inside on a Friday afternoon
On an extremly beautiful day

A poem

Every winter when the breeze is cold
I sit by the fire slowly growing old
I wait and I wait 'till I am feeling quite faint
Then with a roar I shoot out the door
Im happy 'cos it's summer again
